About me:
I am a physical designer, sculptor, and builder exploring the intersection of organic form and industrial aesthetics. Growing up in New Mexico’s dramatic landscape nurtured my affinity for the natural world, while my studies at Stanford illuminated the possibilities of technology and innovation. As a recent Stanford graduate with a BS in physical design & manufacturing alongside an art practice minor, I enjoy blurring the boundary between engineering and art to produce spaces and objects that inspire those who interact with them.
I am particularly interested in how furniture and lighting can transform mood and space, while simultaneously affording new possibilities for the user. While pursuing this interest, I founded Aridity Studios LLC, received funding, and traveled to Shenzhen China to realize my designs. There I produced the Aspen Floor Lamp and laid groundwork for other products. However, as a recent graduate, I now want to learn about design in the professional world and have taken a back seat in Aridity Studios.
